The scale vernier could be paper... or could be a very expensive
Front Panel Express engraving. Might not be 'that' easy to make.
(Ian... I think a lot of folks here have not played with slide rules
or vernier marked calipers. Come to think of it... I haven't
played with a slide rule either :^)
I'd like to see what the knob looks like. Seems you'd want to
buy those.
Maybe we could all 'agree' on a custom knob and then
buy a bunch as a group
