Hi there SR!

There is a simple Envelope Follower already available in the Modcan 08A
processor.

For more sophisticated applications I have been developing an
exponential Pitch to Voltage converter module with a built in Envelope
Follower and Gate extractor, however it will not be available for a few
months, as my present focus is on completing a back log of orders at the
moment.

I do presently have a Modcan format analog Keyboard interface module
available for use with traditional CV type keyboards. It features an 8-pin
circular connector that feeds power to your keyboard, and returns the Gate,
Trigger, and two Pitch Voltages, to a set of banana jacks on the front panel
of the module.

It also returns these signals to the 4-pin auxiliary bus on the Cyndustries
Combo-Distro power cards for use by some of the Cynthia brand modules
or your own internal pre-patching schemes throughout your Modcan system.

(this can also work to distribute these signals through many MOTM systems,
or any of the modulars, such as Blacet using the popular 4-pin MTA KK series
power headers)

The ~two~ Pitch Voltages are there to support duophonic keyboards, or to
return a mod wheel or similar voltage back to the interface module as well
as the standard monophonic pitch info.

The module is not up on the Cyndustries website, because it is a semi-custom
item, and the extension cable must be modified for whatever keyboard that
you are using. It can even support other controllers such as a Steiner EVI
(Electronic Valve instrument).

I use this with a pair of 5-Octave Aries Modular keyboards that I found on
eBay. (Not to long ago there were a couple of brand new Roland analog
system 100 and system 700 analog keyboards for reasonable prices on ebay).

Analog Systems has a couple of nice new Keyboards that can be adapted
for use with this too.

Another way to go is to order a Q104 Midi-to-CV interface from
Synthesizers.com and have it sent to me to have it "Modcanized " into a
banana jack panel for use with their 5-octave keyboard.
(These panels are presently being made for another customer and I
will soon have a few extras).

A new Cynthia module that is just starting development is the outstanding
Frostwave MIDI converter which not only converts Midi to CV, but is
bi-directional and can convert CV back to Midi! (Record those organic and
liquidy Milton Analog Voltage Controlled Sequencers riffs and trills to
MIDI!)

So here are some ideas and I hope that they give you some inspiration.

Best Wishes!

Cynthia
