Hi,
Just cleaning the mess around you has it's good sides: I found some
pictures of the second synthesizer my fellow musicians and I once build.
It's a little blurred, but anyway. I mentioned it once in Jim Clarks
book. I'm not sure of the exact year anymore, but I know I did some
tooling at an institute I was studying, so just recapturing my life... :-)

The synth is named Halsey 6200, maybe some joke towards the Arp 2600.
From left to the right:
the tuning Module;
the master Osc;
4 slave Osc, the two last ones could be used as LFO;
clock/pulse generator;
very slow LFO;
sample and hold;
Mixer;
Switches mixer (surely based on the MiniMoog);
ADSR;
LP Filter;
LP-BP-HP Filter;
ADSR;
VCA;
VCA;
Distortion (special for the guitar)

completely at the right the output controls, the rest are empty modules;
At the bottom:
trigger button;
patch panel before the mixer (although some in/out were on both sides);
patch panel after the mixer;
extern in control AND
some sort of a simple sequencer...
We thought using these short cables the knobs would stay free to tweak,
but you had to learn these patch panels by heart, otherwise it didn't
work. Behind the top panel were all the busses.
The only thing which didn't worked well was the keyboard. It stayed in
tune over about 1 1/2 octave... Just a simple flute :-)
The guys eyes are blocked, 'cause he was the thief who stole the damn
thing (see modular book).
The fact the knobs aren't lining up... well, that was my doing :-)
But I was so much older then,
I'm younger then that now :-)
Wout
