[sdiy] finished my Fatman!

Ken,
This is certainly a great project and if you go back to the PAIA site you
will find tons of DIY mods ( Scott Gravenhorst, and others ) for it that add
a lot of needed functionality. I have been beating on mine with a fast
sequencer and it works very well. It went out of tune a lot at first, but
after tuning it three times it has been stable for over a year now.
Good luck with yours. I am currently moving mine into a different rack unit
that will house two fatmen and a POLY-800 in a 4 U chassis. Then I can move
onto the modular project.
Did you buy the rackmount kit or the boxed version?
Michael

finally! Not completely DIY, but close enough for me. Took me about 22
hours, my soldering skills certainly improved.
Some people in the past have posted asking about good first projects, feel
free to contact me if you have any questions about the PAIA Fatman as a
good first project...
