AW: [sdiy] Good 8 or 12 bit D/A converter?

Yesterday I ordered the Burr Brown/Texas Instruments DAC7625 4 channel 12Bit
parallel loading DACs.
You can get up to 3 free samples from Texas.

This chip would have been nice for Pauls Polydac as on the picture it looks like
he used 4 single DACs...
These chips are not the fastest DACs (10us settling time) but  fast enough
for midi-2-cv.
