Thanks to all for your replies. Call me lucky, but the first
store I tried, Tottenham Court Road, did have some KB3 and KB4
in stock. Wanted five, got two, but that will do (I just wanted
a few as samples).
The Croydon store has them too (so I'm told).
Selling electronic componants over the counter is well on its
way to becoming a lost art in France. Looks like the UK is going
through the same process.
