i have quite a bit of info on this
ive been lazy recently, electronics is more of a bad wether pursuite for
me... the main places you should look are the analogue heven archives, most
notably the posts by ploutonique, geff waterstones 'the mix' article, but
treat these with a pinch of salt, as not all of them work at all, and then
if you want to buy a box, just go to analogue solutions.
i was making quite extensive notes on mine as i did things, and even bought
an analogue solutions modified 606 off ebay to compare the various mods id
done with those by AS to try and find those that i liked the best. ill dig
out my notes in a bit for you, if you like.
the comments id make:
think hard about what your going to do before cutting the case, as ive
changed my mind more than once as i found more mods to do
ive found some mods work better with shielded cable
theres even somone on ebay who sells a pcb allowing midi triggers
occasioaly, with a pre-programmed eprom. ive bought this board, but was
waiting till id finished the tonal mods before fitting.
then i bought a jomox airbase... i will finish the 606s off sometime though
julian
