samples are unaffected, that's why i'm posting on this list and not 
bendersanonymous. i don't know if anyone over there knows enough about 
circuitry to answer, but i should probably ask them too.
i'll get more specific. this is a  double black blob toy, so as far as 
sample affecting bends, there are none. however, if you connect a 
couple points, it produces a synth like tone that can be varied with 
resistance from very high to very low. i put a string manual controller 
on it and built it into a box so i can play it. what i'd love to do 
though, is figure out why and how it is doing this, and replicate it, 
maybe even improve upon it. if needs be i can post a picture somewhere.
