hi there,

i have recently acquired an OSCar, and a most interesting synth it appears.
from reading about, it does seem like a 'love it or hate it' synth, but, i
for one, am keen.

some of the pots on this one are pretty bad, and one rotary switch almost
non functional. itlld be nice to find some schematics, so as i can order in
the parts, without having to remove the bad parts to see exactly what they
are?

the second question; the rubber used for the synth casing, any ideas on a
good way to repair this? im looking for a kind of filler to fill the cracks
once i rejoin the trim with vulcanising cement. its not a serious issue,
so, if im going to start the job, i want to be aiming at a good standard of
repair.

lastly, my oscar has a v6 voice board, although i believe the synth to be a
hybrid, the rest of it being older. i can see that once the novelty of it
wares off, then some form of external control would be desirable. kenton
makes mention of kits in some of their converter manuals, but dont give any
specifics. ive mailed them, but whilst im posting here anyway, i thought id
if anyone on this list has any opinions on the best way to achieve this?

anyway, thanks for reading this far,

julian
