The RCA appnotes for the CA3080, CA3130, CA3140 and CA3280 all show different versions of an OTA-based single-control wide range function generator circuit. For the CA3080 circuits, the drive voltage is about +/- 60-80 mV, for the CA3280 it about +/-30 mV. Not a large p-p at all. Regards, Mike
