Hi John

The EMS diode ladder is an oft-cloned piece of gear. I think that Juergen
Haible cloned the entire unit.

Because they are still in business, most (honorable) diy people have been
respectful in not publishing any of the schematics they may have acquired
in confidence.

Personally I have a sort of 'yeah... so' attitude to most of the features of the

VCS synths.  Maybe because I was exposed more to ARP and MOOG on the
east coast of the USA at that time...

Now I can join you in the flaming, as everyone yells about the special
'features'
of the VCS line....
