[sdiy] Holy price tags, Batman!

I´ve seen this one being listed on ebay twice already, with the exact same
starting price, both times no bids.

In any case, i forked out a lot of money for my vcs3 , it did however come
with a tks sequencer,wich are not that common. Although i wouldnt (and
couldnt) buy something as expensive as this every few months, i must say its
sound is very unlike any other synths, but most of all the layout and the
patchpin matrix is the most fun ive ever had on a synth. You can never get
bored playing around with it, as it always gives you a weird and often
wonderfull sound in return for your effort. I just read someones doing a
softsynth emulation of the aks, but with a kind of different layout. Not
that i´ll bother......

As far as ems synth diy suff goes, you all know about jurgen haibles clone,
wich looks really nice. But check out Steve Thomas modular patchpin
system..its one of the reasons why i wanted to get into synth diy (although
im an absolute novice).
