I have a couple of EMS brochures and a price list from the early seventies:
the Synthi 100 is listed at a mere £6,500. A VCS3 was £350: since EMS
(http://www.ems-synthi.demon.co.uk/) are currently listing a new one at
£1800, perhaps they could fix you up a new Synthi 100 for approx
1800/350*6500 = £33,500. I can't imagine anyone starting the bidding on such
an item at such a ridiculously high price.
