This is why I want to keep my speech synthesizer box from 1988 as it is.
For testing and as collectors item. But as the SC-01 is in a socket I could take
it off the board and build it into my own PCB.

I have seen some sites of actual products but they do not really
interest me. Some of the new chips have lots of pins but if you have a closer
look not really more functions or better sounds.

Yes, I know this site. A really intersting site. I go to this page when
I start a search on Ebay for speech boxes...
