Yes, I use to be involved with pro-sumer multi-channel sound cards and we
used them all over the place. We had 30 on each 8 channel card, 6 on our
unbalanced 4 channel card and 10 on the balanced 4 channel. We were buying
so many of them they were under .20 each.

I wouldn't go that far but they are a cheap, good, low noise 4558 type
op-amp. You'll find them in a lot of gear like Mackie and other mixers. The
guy that did our analog design did a lot of work for Mackie and that is how
we found out about them. He knows his analog stuff and said yes you could
buy better but at 3 to 10 times the cost.

You can grab the data sheet off of NJR's (National Japan Radio) WEB site.
NJR clones a lot of parts and sells mass quanities. In general they are
pretty good but check the data sheets if you are going to use them as subs.
Sometimes the parameters are very close yet different. Usually noise or
offset might be degraded some.

Check out Mouser for the price they have. They might be cheaper in
quanities.
