Jim,  If you are stuck on screening, you can get that done.  That is how we
manufacturer our MOTM-look panels. Dave Bradley does our artwork in Corel
Draw and the screen is cut from that.  The problem with screening is that it
is quite expensive to make just one panel.  However, if you make multiple
copies of one type, the cost goes down considerably since much of the cost
of screening panels is the up-front fixed cost of the screen & set up.  For
example, a 2U wide panel 5U tall in our black paint screen process can sell
for $65 for the first one on a new screen, or as low as $24 is we are print
10 or more.  The consensus for one of a kind seems to be to go with
engraving like Jim P. suggested.

Where does everyone go to get faceplates for their projects screened,
etched, etc? I have several projects I would like to start but I've
never liked the handmade look and would prefer a more formal look. I
need to be able to give the screener etc a computer file for the panel.
