Ring mod seems like a natural for a percussion synth. So, you need another
osc. You might as well add FM while you're at it.

Can an SDS route the EG to the osc freq (pitch)? That would be nice.

Hard sync would be nice, too (since I have already convinced you to add a
second osc ;-). Great for those ripping harmonics, especially in conjuction
with the EG freq mod, above. (This is a Mono/Poly user talking!)

Since you will have randomness (noise), you can add a Sample & Hold function
that samples when you hit the drum, and route that to pitch and/or filter
cutoff freq.
