[sdiy] Cases compatible with front panels?

Hi!!

I have another question related to front panels!!  What odd, interesting, 
unusual, or functional boxes exist that you can plop a front panel on?  [I 
love frontpanel express!] For instance, I noticed that the horrible plastic 
project boxes that Radio Shack sells can be flipped over and a front panel 
can take the place of the plastic bottom - making an interesting project 
box.

What other types of non-standard-rack-cases can one attach a project box to? 
  Suitcases? Wood boxes? Dead speaker cases?

I'd particularly be interested in any project boxes that are shaped like the 
FutureRetro 777 or Roland MicroCompose MC-4.
