Just a comment to this topic:
I've got some some music (concert) videos and I see that
some guitarists used to have a small carpet under their feet on
the stage. Especially those who also sing.
There is an interview with Greg Lake from Emerson Lake & Palmer
who says that once he got an electric shock from the microphone
and since this time he prefers to put an (insulation) carpet onto
the stage floor...
Maybe that's the only reliable way to avoid grounding problems...
