It's 6502 assembly, right ? You can get lots of pointers to 6502
related stuff from http://www.6502.org/. 6502 assembly is
reasonably straightforward. Understand what the carry flag does
with respect to ADC, SBC and CMP, become familiar with the
indirect indexed addressing mode and you're set. If you have
questions, feel free to mail me off-list.
The cross-assembler I use is XA.
There isn't a newsgroup for the 6502 but quite a few 6502-savvy
people hang out in the newsgroups for 6502-based computers such as
comp.sys.cbm, comp.sys.apple2 and comp.sys.atari.8bit.
