[sdiy] How Many Oscillators?

Thanks Mr. Patchell,
It does appear to be a balance issue. I was not really considering the
tuning issue. I thought that only the really old units had those drift
problems ? Are there any truly stable designs in the analog world that don't
require exotic parts?

Thanks for the advice.

This would be an engineering problem, mostly. You need to balance the
desirability between having a lot of oscillators (the more the merrier),
and the cost and maintenance problems. The cost is rather obvious, I would
say, i.e. how many can you afford. Then there is maintenance. You are
going to have to keep them in tune. Depending on how stable they end up
being, you may have to tune them all up just before you use them
everytime...or, maybe not. These are questions you will have to answer.
