[sdiy] Posted some ambient stuff

Hi Ray,

Ah, I think I know what you mean by the 'grainy' noise now - I'm going to have to
clear some space and try that out. It's amazing the piece was all done in one
take, too. Sounds like you had fun doing it. I need more oscillators to create
a sound field like that!

Thanks for the kind words about the samples and site. The samples are normally
under 1 meg each, but the FM samples come out a little over a meg. You might
want to wait til I can fix them - I didn't realize until today they were 'stereo'
with all the sound in the left channel and silence in the right (don't know how I
managed that). Sorry to any of you who were wearing headphones and got the same
instant headache I got this morning when I tried it......

Yep, Thomas Henry was the guy back in the 80's who first gave me the inkling that
one could *build* a synthesizer. Of course, back then CEM's and SSM's were
pretty common. All I can say nowadays is thank God for the internet, this list
and people on it - it's truly the golden age of synth DIY.

Cheers,
Scott
