OK, after looking back at your previous posts, and looking over the
schematics on the EFM page, I'm thinking you may be referring to the
RXCV-PRO, not the RXCV (two different boards). That being the case, go
with the schematic at
http://www.ele4music.com/rxcvpro/rxcvpro.html
(you might notice that the PDF version has been pulled from the site --
probably due to errors).
In short: for the RXCV, R12 is 1K; for the RXCV-PRO, it's 10K.

About the EFM kits -- they're probably the best value-per-dollar that
you're going to find; but there are some things you have to get used to --
1) There will be discrepancies between the parts list & the schematics --
usually the schematic is correct.
2) There will (as you've seen) sometimes be differing versions of the
schematic; building an EFM kit (and incorporating all the necessary fixes)
will require some research. This used to be a lot easier, before Tom went
over to the "Forum" format -- not sure what happened to that giant archive
of emails covering the various fixes for the various boards.
3) You won't get all the parts (but you WILL get extra parts) -- be
prepared to get creative, if you can't wait for the missing parts to arrive.

EFM kits are an education, in more ways than you might have expected.
