When out of college and working as a design engineer at Precision Monolithics,  
 

I remember that company!  They were doing some interesting things
in the analog domain in the early '80s.  (Unfortunately, I didn't know
enough about analog at the time to appreciate much of it.)  They
ran some rather feisty ads in EE Times, too.
