woah woah... I agree with you totally, but Yamaha bought this technology.  I
can't discredit them for the excellent job they did once they got it,  but
it wasn't theirs.

Another interesting tidbit - abooot the same time, actually two years
before, they were contemplating purchasing the Buchla 200 rights from Don.
Barry Schrader went to Irvineto the Yamaha USA HQ with Don to demo it for
their high rollers there.  Obviously, they 'got' what CBS didn't - that
these machines were very off-Broadway and passed.
