[sdiy] Off topic - SCART connectors

I think it's about 50/50. In VCRs they're usually horizontally, while
I've seen TV sets with vertical boards. My previous TV even had the
first connector horizontally on the main board, and 2 more connectors on
an optional expansion board, vertically plugged into the main board.

I don't think there are any commercial devices with non-board-mount SCART
connectors around, so it depends on how the board is mounted in the box.
