The funny part was to say "half" as much fun. Fractional inches are of
course are binary. The bits to the right of the binary point are 1/2, 1/4,
1/8 and so on.

The Ps and Qs are a power of 2 or 4. Fun stuff.

I was in London during the metric transition. What fun. Let's see if I
remember, 12 pence to a shilling, 5 shillings to a crown, 20 shillings to a
pound, but if you were in the snooty part of London then it was 21 shillings
to a guinea.

As I am writing this I am looking at Mt Rain(i)er.
