In the ASO block schematics of the Andromeda
the square are assigned as osc syncronisation,
Does the PW affect reset time?
A6 users complaints about the A6 being quite usless
for polly Lin FM , they say that the FM index are not
uniform due to fluctuations in the amplitude!
I wonder, how much level fluctuations are needed to
be felt as a disturbance?
I just speculating, what if its not that but instead
it's the VCO's phase at "note ON" that cuses the non
uniformity modulating index and that people are
intrepeting it as a modulation amplitude level shift?
This is noticeably in the DX7 models up to the TG/SY77-99
models where they implemented a oscillator phase restart
at "note on" as well as a phase start point.
If its not that i wonder would it be most likely that the
OTA cells in the ASO and ASF chip are bipolar and strictly
linear design (exponential envelopes in software) and
temperature compensated and as such would be level
stable enough?
