This is the typical customer complaint!(mine to) And obviously in all
it's rights.Ususall when it comes to Midi and PC its not the Midi
protocoll or PYS interface (uart+ optics) that makes the problem, its
internal PC thing and timing inside OS, drivers, and a truck load of
other crap (bloatware) that makes Midi streams go bananas!

I once had old paralell port midi interface wich worked flawlessly,
then i needed more ports and bought a USB intrface from a very well
known manufacturer and introduced all kinds of problems, timings,
you name it! This was couple of years ago maybe things are better now?

How ironic some things can be!
