I've spent some extra money to buy high temperature (105 deg C) electrolytic
caps
for my latest project (tube stuff, 450V caps).
Now a co-worker told me that these high temperature caps used to be very
harmful
to health (liver damage etc.) one they "blow", bacause the chemicals would
be
way more dangerous than in ordinary electrolytics.
Question: Is this true? Is this *still* true for modern capacitors? (His
experience goes
way back to th eearly days of electronics, so I don't know if this is still
valid for
today's components.) Please tell me.
