There are two boards are worthy of checking out.

The Evolution MK449c is 49-note, self powered via USB, loads of hardware
controllers, bend and modulation wheels etc etc. Costs around 160 quid but
Turnkry are knocking them out for 138 quid.

The Edirol PC-180a is OK(ish). Much the same as the Evolution but has a
Roland style bend lever and uses batteries or an AC adaptor. Costs about 100
quid but Turnkey are selling them for 85.
