Andrew's harp is the earlier top sensor design. I believe this is the
sort of harp that was used on the JMJ China Concerts video. Its easier
to do than with back scattering, but does rely on careful placement of
the beams to ensure beam breaks. Its surely the best way for smaller
systems.

Martin Frankcom's box is just that. A box. No top sensors. You just have
the box on the floor and beams go up to the roof (or stars).

The other DIY one of this ilk that we know of belongs to Sebastien
Pamart and he has a (french langauage) website with lots of details
given on construction:
