All,
Time for an update on this year's UK Synth DIY meeting.
The event will be held in Robinson College again, same place as last
year,
the weekend of July 30th to August 1st.
To give you a taste of what happened last year, here are some photos:

This year we will again be holding a raffle, with an assortment of
prizes
(and yes, Andy, there will be a tin of SPAM!!) on offer, with all monies
raised going to the Drake Music Project:

This year we have a couple of talks lined up:
- Tony Allgood ("The Man From Oakley") will be talking us through the
birth of the Oakley VCO, the experiences on getting a module out to the
general public, an idea of the amount of work that goes into producing
the
finished item.
- Christoph Kemper (inventor of the Access Virus) will be hosting a
question-and-answer session, about anything related to Access, the
Virus,
the technology behind it all, and so on.
More details here:

Rooms are 20 pounds a night, including breakfast. Maps and directions
can
also be found from the above page (follow the link for Robinson
College).
Please let me know before 15th July if you want a room (and whether
1 or 2 nights). Best to email me on <me at njohnson.co.uk>
Day trippers most welcome (Cambridge is just 45 minutes by train from
London Kings Cross), but it would be appreciated if you could let us
know,
just so we have an idea of how many are coming along.
Cheers,
Neil
