I have a couple of teams doing an "OTA shootout" as their final project
and gave each some NJM13700 and LM13700s and NJM13600s, along with
CA3080s, a CA3280 (I don't have many of those), and some matched BJT pairs
(the Japanese, SSMs, etc.) to do some roll-your-own. I deliberately left
it somewhat vague as to how they should make their measurements just to
see what they would come up with. I also told the teams not to talk to
each other about details so we'd have two independent looks at the topic
(although they are told to freely consult with students working with
different projects).

If they FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS, they should be reading the list by now and
would benefit from whatever thoughts people had.

If they didn't follow instructions - well, they'll know that I know as
soon as I ask "why didn't you try that thing that such-and-such on the
list suggested?" ;)
