Many secondary schools and most universities will have vacuum forming
equipment in their technology departments.

Making the mould is usually done by the student. Its pretty easy really,
I used to use MDF block and simply cut and shave it to the right size
and shape.

Nip down to your local school and see if they can help. You'll probably
need to write to them these days since getting into schools can be
awkward because of the security issue. If your own old school is nearby
that is usually your best bet. You'll have to pay for the materials, but
it won't be much.

You could use the old casing to make the new case. You could even try
pouring plaster of paris into the old case. The shape of this will be an
exact shape of the original mould.
