[sdiy] slightly OT: current demands for 12ax7a & 12au7?

You'd want the choke for the screen supply, so if I'm looking at the same
circuit you are (se 6bq5 or 6v6) you'd replace R6 with the choke. If you
have a 5v winding on your pwr xfmr a 5Y3 will drop more voltage than the
6ca4 and variants.
If it were me I'd save the choke for a p-p amp....it seems like overkill for
a champ clone.
