[sdiy] Japanese pairs seem gone...

I ordered a bunch of 2SC1583s from Limor for my students to play with -
but I since that's the only source I found think I should suggest that
they use them for testing and comparing against other transistor pairs and
building existing designs, and shy away from them in their new designs.
Similarly - RF Parts advertised 2SA798s - but they said they're out and
not expecting another shipment in 30 days, so I told them to just cancel
I could find 2SC1349 or 2SC3381 anywhere.
NTE has these replacements...
2SA798 rep - NTE43 $1.98
2SC1583 rep - NTE42 $1.84
I have a couple of each on order to test.
I need to contact THAT and find out about their 300 series.
Are there any stashes of the 2SC/2SA stuff that I'm overlooking? Because
if not, I think I should generally steer the students away from them.
There seem to be pleanty of CA3046 and CA3083 still available...
