[sdiy] Anyone ever use an AY3-8910?

Sure is!

A friend of mine made a MIDIfied school project with one and a Z80 in 
the early 90's.

The chip was used in Atari ST, Spectravideo SVI328/318 and all MSX
machines among others, there is a Yamaha clone as well...YM2149

I've even been planning to emulate it in a fast uC and pair it w. a
analog filter. So many ideas, so little time ;-)
