Sounds like you just lost the backup battery and there are gibberish
settings in memory. You need to get the E! manual online. I think
there's a link to it on my website. I've been through this but can't
recall the buttons right now to get to enabling sysex etc. Anway you
should be able to just sysex a bank of sounds on when you get the memory
protect switched off and the sysex enabled. -Bob
