Certainly, but you have to admitt that the RoHS directive is effective, it is
a strong force even outside of EC. Becomming RoHS compliant will make life
easier in the long run, even if you can shift it a little while, it doesn't
work well for very long. Everybody suffers in the short term thought.

Ah well. I recall KD did mention that you could use this new solder without
much trouble with leaded parts.
