Someone pointed out to me that Eletronix Online was advertising 2SC3381s for $1.25 each. I ordered some - alas, I just head a message on my answering machine that they've been barkordered for a year or something insane. Looks like 2SC1583 is the only Japanese NPN pair left... those luckily are still out there. - Aaron
