Pressure mats are a loser, IMHO
They are essentially like click-dome
membrane switches. The big problem
is if you stand on the mat... it is triggered
all the time and additional pressure
does nothing.
Good for a burglar alarm... where the first touch
is the data you need. Useless for music uses
unless maybe you want to un-mute your audio when you
walk on stage.
(I do have such a mat... used it to trigger Halloween
sounds)
