Look at it this way.

Your really somebody when your stuff is so good you can spawn  
secondary marketplaces.

I judge the great success of the Mini-Wave by how many secondary  
marketplaces it spawned (manufacturing, repackaging, software).

So they make a few bucks on your work, collecting it would cost more  
legal fees than the gross income from the whole project and spinoffs  
combined.

With Starbucks coffee at $5 a Vento Latte, we are all in the wrong  
field anyway.
