Well that last post came out looking like crap. Let's try this one.

Not sure if this has been asked before: has anyone here synthesized
the delightful sound of bagpipes, so that they sound very realistic?
I'm looking for a very thrifty way to do this.<<

Since I was planning on getting to synthesizing bagpipes, I kept this post
from a couple of months back. You're asking for very realistic and at the
same time a very thrifty way to do it. Those are contradictory requests.
Mine consist of several hardsync'd oscs and pulse waves, fixed filter bank,
and some other filtering all done on the Moog Modular V softsynth. The
closest you can try on a simple synth depending on its capabilities is try
to come up with some nasal, sharp sound using what you can from above and
play it in a bagpipe style to kind of portray the instrument. It won't sound
"very realistic" though. For a demo of my bagpipe/drum band all done on the
Arturia MMV synth, it is below.
