BTW, as long as people cite my contact info (e-mail) and put in a link to 
the original class website, anybody anywhere is welcome to host them in 
whatever formats float their boat: mpeg, avi, analog laserdisk, 
PixelVision...

RealVideo is what our Distance Learning people use when they record 
videos. It wouldn't have been my first choice, but that's what their 
infrastructure is set up to use as standard.

I'm teaching the class again this semester, but alas, the're not being 
videoed (they were last semester since I had a remote section in Savannah, 
GA). I wish they were, I know what I'm talking about a lot more this 
semester. In the Spring videos I'm often spouting nonsense. Ignore 
anything I say that's nonsense. ;)

I'm probably spouting nonsense this semester too, just spouting less of 
it.
