The spectrum of a discontinuity falls off at 6dB/octave after the first 
few harmonics. For discontinuity of derivative that's 12dB/octave. So 
after a while a discontinuity in triangle has higher amplitude for the 
harmonics than the basic triangle (not to mention the fact that the 
discontinuity has both even and odd harmonics).
