I don't know the full story.
I only know that Stefan (who has designed all MAM products except the very 
early mixers) has left the company a few years ago. And that some MAM 
products have been, or possibly still are, distributed by Terratec. Stefan 
is still working on synths in his spare time (he has a non-music-related EE 
job now), and from what I've heard, the project that had originally started 
as a simple Taurus clone, has been further developed by him into something 
with more features. No idea if there are any plans to sell this 
commercially. I'll ask him about the status next time I meet him.
