Hello,
Two questions for anyone who can answer them.
Question 1:
does anyone know if a 9v AC. 700mA ac adaptor will power a midiverb 3's
requirments without any problems? I can't find any info as to how many mA's
the midiverb actually needs, they all usually use 830mA supplies but I don't
know if that is it's actual consumption or not or just a round voltage to
cover all the alesis gear.
question #2 is one I've been asking alot for a while.
I'm not most savy electronics person and I've been trying to find twos pots
for moog sonic 6 (post Serial #1300) they are 10k linear with switch, every
one I find with the right rating doesn't look quite right and I can't find
anything that has a shaft that is long enough to fit the knobs correctly.
If anyone can help me with the moog pots I will compensate them for the
parts. I've looked around with out any luck for over a year off and on. I
think it would be good to make it known what parts could be used as I'm sure
others have been in this spot and as long as there are Moog Sonic six
synthesizers out there someone will needs parts. I'd really love to be able
to use the beast for something other than a large paper weight.
I'd gladly include the schematics to anyone who can help me revive the
sonic six from it's grave.
please email me,
Nicholas
