I recently picked up a copy of "Empire of AI" from my local library.

I was vaguely aware of AI's energy, water and natural resource
plundering. But there was a lot I didn't know, like companies exploiting
thousands in third-world countries to train, refine answers and manually
filter out abhorrent responses.

I think it's cool that it can help me program faster, but so would me
learning to be a better programmer.
