I don't remember, it's been 15 or 20 years ago. I guess, as you
suggested, I bent the lugs outward, in case the soldering turned out to
be insufficient. I do remember that I had to do *something* to get the
height right.
Sigh, I'm always striving to avoid future problems. And sometimes I tend
to think a little too much ;-) Maybe that's the autistic side of me....
